I love all things crafty, especially those that use repurposed or recycled goods in a new and different way! I began Greenleaf Goods in 2009 as a way to sell some of my recycled projects, and I focused on selling upcycled felted sweaters that are made into colorful scarves. I quickly fell in love with modern quilting, and the rest is history. I keep this journal as a way to track my projects and to share my work with others who are looking for inspiration or who love to sew.
When I’m not crafting, I work as a researcher studying women’s health. I find that taking lots of breaks to do something creative helps keep me balanced. I grew up in the midwest, and I now live with my partner (often referred to as J on the blog) and our dog, Simon just outside of Boston, MA. J tracks his organic gardening efforts on his blog, From Seed to Table.
