I made this red and white mixtape quilt for our friends who were married this past May. I backed it in a red and tan striped fabric. It was the second large quilt I made, and I stippled it, because I wanted it to have an old-fashioned, wrinkly finish. As this was early in my quilting process, I wasn’t thinking about taking some really good pics of the finished object– instead, I almost forgot to take any pictures at all, and then snapped these at the last minute before wrapping it up and taking it to the wedding.
I purchased the pattern from Oh Fransson’s website, and I found the pattern to be very thorough and very well written! I loved making this quilt, and I can see myself making more in the future.
I could definitely see a quilt like this on my bed in the future– I may have to make another.
