In preparation to launch the Greenleaf Goods etsy site, over the last few weeks I’ve been working on taking and editing photos of my scarves that represent them at their best.
This is a crucial step in trying to sell things on etsy, because all of the contact people have with the scarves is one dimensional. I think that touching a scarf and feeling its softness, being able to try it on, and seeing the colors in person can’t be beat (and has helped me sell a few scarves before the actual launch of the shop!). However, I don’t have the chance to show everyone each scarf in person, so I’ve got to make my pictures count.
Here are a few things I figured out:
1. Outdoor lighting works SO well.
3. Strategic use of the railing and draping shows off all the colors in each scarf.
