This has been a *really* busy week at work, so I have had very little time to craft. I’m hoping that the workload won’t remain so heavy, because I definitely do better when I have a little downtime to do something creative.
Although I haven’t had much time to work on new projects this week, I did manage to pull off making my design wall last weekend! We had a large, blank wall in the dining room, and I wanted to be able to put some work-in-progress up there to keep me inspired. In an effort to be frugal, I pulled a few poster frames out of storage and took the glass off the front and covered the exposed back with batting. I would still like to build a “real” design wall sometime, but for now this works great (and didn’t cost me a thing!)
And you may have noticed something on the table in the picture above– yep, I managed to finish the binding on my table runnner, too.
The pics of the design wall also give a sneak peak of the two projects I’m working on next. I’m sure I’ll be writing about them soon!
